Fierce Love Practice .
This is how it works .
Individual sessions .
- You reach out to me and share whatever seems relevant about your desire to tap into your deeper wisdom about how you are showing up to your precious life. This can include general curiosity or specific problems or issues you are grappling with.
- We set up a time to meet - our first session is 45 minutes long and free.
- During this session, you tell me a little bit about yourself, ask any questions, and share any interests you are bringing to our collaboration. I will share a little bit about who I am and my approach to the work. I will ask some questions and answer any that you have.
- You decide if you would like to proceed. I decide if I would like to proceed.
- If we do want to proceed, we set up a series of 3 sessions, spaced anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks apart. I ask for a 3 session commitment because I've found it takes about that amount of time to feel into how we will work together.
- You choose the fee you would like to pay - the range is anywhere from $25-$150/hour. If you are unable to pay anything, you let me know that. If you are doing Palestine solidarity work, the fee is waived. You will pay (or not) for each session once it is completed.
- We sit together for 3 sessions. While we have made a 3-session commitment, if you feel our time together is not of benefit, you can let me know. If we continue through the 3 sessions and you want to continue, we will schedule sessions until either you or I feel our time is complete.
Methods .
When we meet together for our sessions, I will offer any or all of the following:
As we work together and discover what methods or ways of being are most fruitful, we will continue to work with those. I will never ask you to engage in a method or approach if you determine that it is not working for you after trying it at least once.
- Deep listening
- Silence
- Visualization
- Storytelling from our lived experience(s)
- Coaching
- Talking to the ancestors
- Talking to younger and older versions of ourselves
- Reading aloud
- Poetry
- Music and song
- ... and whatever else you might want to work with.

Tema is a full companion in directing the exploration of learning and living hope. She helped me allow for the energy of love for myself and others to be known. She guided me in how to accept what comes. She helped me notice the larger world around me and feel a stronger connection to it. |
What to expect.
- We will laugh.
- We will be uncomfortable.
- We will cry.
- We will be deeply moved.
- You will feel a range of feelings and I will welcome them all.
- I will tell you some things that are hard to hear.
- You will tell me some.
- I will ask you to consider what love requires. I will point out there is never an easy answer to this question.
- You will tell yourself you don't have time for this.
- You will tell yourself this particularly when hard truths come up.
- You will yearn for the familiar.
- You will notice some loosening.
- You will have "ah ha" moments and moments of new insight.
- You will realize there is no destination at which to arrive and that fierce love is a lifelong practice.
- You will befriend yourself even more than you do now.
- You will discover new ways to resource yourself.
and . . .
My practice is geared to and for anyone regardless of your religious or spiritual identity or identities.
I honor what is important to you about your current practice(s). My approach is grounded in a love practice
rather than a specific religious orientation. Too many of us have experienced intense trauma as a result of the way that religious beliefs and practices have landed on us emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually. I will never proselytize or promote anything other than a commitment to your own inner wisdom and desire to get free.
